A highly trained drummer and percussionist, Luis studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford /Surrey, UK. A seasoned musician, his knowledge is sought after by solo artists as well as established bands and performers.
He started developing a solid pocket from a very young age when he was "forced" into recording with his first ever band, back in his native Colombia. His awareness of dynamics, drum tonality and versatility when recording different styles keeps his clients coming back for more.
His personal influences vary, from Latin (Samba / Salsa / Fusion), to Jazz, Reggae, Blues, and all the derivatives of good old Rock n' Roll.
